Learn to Read - Four Letter Words by Little Reader app good for

This is a really age-appropriate app to work on early word recognition with kids with developmental disabilities. I LOVE that you can customize it so much. We started by having our daughter match pictures of her favourite people to their names. I havent found another app that lets you develop materials around a childs own personal life and interests while reinforcing academic skills and learning the way these apps do. Great app.

Outstanding. My kid likes it very much. Helps to learn English as a second language. Pick up words very quickly!

Some bad moments

Was good but then after the update, some of the words do not match the pictures! Disappointing!

There is little rhyme or reason to the selection of words except that they all contain 4 letters. It would have been better if the words were arranged according to spelling patterns, initial or final consonant blends, etc. in order to teach or reinforce a particular skill.

I use this for student in a learning assistance program, but now the words are not matching the pictures, which makes it absolutely useless for learning!

App crashes alot! Pictures dont match words very well. Touch the picture to hear what its supposed to be and it turns this into a game of memory cards.

This is a learning tool for kids and not teaching properly. The words dont match the pictures. It teaches wrong. Must update ASAP!

The best application, my two kids are learning, it was so easy to add my own sight words with my voice they love it. Simple to use but powerful to make a big difference. Im glad I purchased. Good price too.
